Breathwork at AntarLaya

Breathe with
greater awareness.

Foundational breathwork and pranayama sessions in Hyderabad and online, designed to help you observe habitual breathing patterns and practise with steadiness rather than force.

Our approach

The breath is both a mirror and a tool.

Breathing often changes with posture, effort, stress, pace and attention. Breathwork begins by noticing these patterns before trying to change them.

AntarLaya sessions introduce foundational pranayama and breath-awareness practices progressively. The emphasis is on comfort, control and consistency—not intensity, long retentions or advanced techniques.

Practices can be adapted according to your experience, physical comfort and relevant health considerations.

Before your first breathwork session.

Do I need prior pranayama experience?

No. Sessions can begin with posture, natural-breath observation and simple foundational practices. No previous experience is required.

Is breathwork safe for everyone?

Not every breathing technique is suitable for every person. Share any respiratory condition, cardiovascular concern, blood-pressure issue, pregnancy, recent surgery, dizziness or other relevant medical information before practising.

Will I be asked to hold my breath?

Breath retention is not necessary for beginners and is not introduced automatically. Practices are selected according to comfort, experience and suitability.

Yes. Foundational breathwork and pranayama sessions can be offered online when the format is appropriate for your needs.

Is breathwork a replacement for medical or mental-health treatment?

No. Breathwork is a supportive wellbeing practice and should not replace medical care, respiratory treatment, physiotherapy, psychotherapy or psychiatric care when needed.
