This policy is designed for ongoing yoga practice rather than one-time appointments. Group membership fees reserve limited batch capacity, while private sessions reserve an instructor’s time. Please review the rules before paying for a plan.
1. Scope
This policy applies to group yoga classes, private yoga, meditation, breathwork, deep relaxation, workshops and other programmes booked directly with AntarLaya Yogashala.
Corporate or institutional programmes may be governed by a separate written proposal or agreement. Where such an agreement exists, its cancellation terms take priority.
2. Bookings, payments and plan activation
A class, batch position or private-session slot is confirmed only after AntarLaya communicates confirmation and any required payment is received.
- Membership periods begin on the agreed start date, not necessarily the payment date.
- Fees cover access to the selected class format, frequency and membership duration.
- Published schedules, instructors and venues may occasionally change for operational reasons.
- Fees and promotional offers may change for future enrolments. Confirmed plans retain the price agreed at booking.
3. Group classes and memberships
Group memberships reserve a place in a limited-capacity batch. Missed classes are therefore handled differently from appointment-based services.
Missed classes
- A class missed by the participant is generally treated as used and is not refundable.
- A missed class does not automatically extend the membership period.
- Make-up classes, when offered, depend on available space in another suitable batch and are not guaranteed.
- Make-up classes must be used during the active membership period and cannot be accumulated, transferred or exchanged for cash.
Changing batches
A request to change a regular batch may be considered subject to capacity, suitability and instructor availability. Frequent or temporary switching between batches may not be possible.
Membership validity
Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual plans remain valid only for the duration communicated at enrolment. Unused classes expire when the plan ends unless a written pause or extension has been approved.
4. Private and one-to-one sessions
- Private sessions may be rescheduled once when at least 24 hours notice is given.
- A cancellation, rescheduling request or non-attendance within 24 hours may be counted as a completed session.
- Late arrival does not extend the scheduled end time.
- Repeated rescheduling may require selection of a new regular slot, subject to availability.
- Genuine emergencies may be reviewed individually, but an exception should not be assumed until confirmed in writing.
5. Membership pauses, travel and medical breaks
Pause eligibility depends on plan duration and must be requested before the break begins. Approval is not automatic.
| Plan | Standard pause position |
|---|---|
| Monthly | No routine pause. A short medical exception may be considered with supporting information. |
| Quarterly | One pause of up to 14 days may be considered. |
| Half-yearly | One pause of up to 30 days may be considered. |
| Annual | Up to two pauses with a combined maximum of 45 days may be considered. |
Approved pauses shift the membership end date by the approved period. Pauses cannot normally be applied retrospectively, split into repeated short breaks, or used to preserve occasional missed classes.
Where continuing the selected practice is temporarily unsuitable, AntarLaya may suggest modified practice, an alternative format, a pause or discontinuation. The appropriate option will depend on safety, programme structure and available evidence.
6. Refunds and non-transferability
Memberships and packages are intended for committed, ongoing practice. Once the plan has started, fees are generally non-refundable.
Refunds may be considered when:
- a duplicate or clearly incorrect payment is received;
- AntarLaya cancels the programme before it begins and cannot offer a reasonable alternative;
- a payment was made for a slot that AntarLaya did not confirm;
- another exceptional circumstance is approved in writing.
Refunds are generally not available for:
- change of mind after the membership begins;
- missed classes, travel, work commitments or personal scheduling conflicts;
- dissatisfaction arising solely from personal preference after attending;
- unused sessions after plan expiry;
- withdrawal without a safety or service-delivery issue.
Plans are personal and cannot be transferred, shared, resold or converted into another person’s membership without prior written approval.
7. Changes or cancellations by AntarLaya
If AntarLaya cancels a class, we may provide a substitute instructor, alternate timing, online option, make-up class or suitable extension. If a confirmed private session cannot be rescheduled, the affected session fee may be credited or refunded.
Temporary closures caused by severe weather, building restrictions, public safety issues, government directions, power or internet failures, instructor illness or other circumstances beyond reasonable control will be handled fairly, but do not automatically create a right to a full-plan refund.
8. Contact and refund processing
Requests should be sent to antarlaya.yoga@gmail.com or communicated through +919479627508. Include your name, service, batch or session details, payment date and reason for the request.
Approved refunds will be returned through an available method. Bank or payment-processing timelines may apply after AntarLaya initiates the refund.
